> 24 hourI had purchased a device like this (My Passport SSD External Portable Hardrive) over a year ago like this and it has worked beautifully with my MAC. This one and another with less storage did not convert properly and I spent hours trying to have them work. I contacted Amazon and returned both. It was noted on my account, that it was returned and my credit card credited for the full amount. It’s been over a month since the credit should have been on my account. I have not received a credit on my account and there is no easy way to communicate with someone from Amazon. I have been a prime member for MANY YEARS! Go to the contact page for a phone number and “oops, something went wrong” comes up. You must be kidding! After all the $$ Amazon has raked in during the pandemic and all the people unemployed, yet there is no one in customer service to speak with or chat with on line. It should not be this hard. Extremely disappointed in the product and more disappointed in Amazon.

> 24 hourIts size really amazing. Very compact and easy to carry in a small case. Also it comes with USB C to USB 2 converter that really nice of it.

> 24 hourI wanted to speed up my load times on my PS4. This did the trick. The times decreased about 20-30 seconds on Anthem. The only negative is the cable is short.

> 24 hourI transferring years and years of videos and photos from disc externals to these WD 2TB SSD’s. Silent. Takes very little USB power (helpful when you have 4 connected at once). No issues with these and I’m about to purchase another one. Seriously, for the size, these must work on pure magic.

> 24 hourI have used it for work. I do a lot of work with graphic design software, mostly Adobe Creative Suite, which requires a certain level of computing capability on the drive. With the SSD, I can constantly get a much shorter time of opening, processing, and saving large files. It meets my expectation. A very good upgrade from a hard drive. PLUS, it is very light, so it doesnt add much weight to my bag, it is very important when I have to carry multiple portable drives with me for work.

> 24 hourI use this to transfer files form a windows work computer to my Arch system at home. Works fine, my only 2 gripes are the case is a tad bulky but more important, the cable they give you is maybe 6 inches long. Would recommend just buying a new cable or this will dangle from just about any USB port you plug it into.

> 24 hourI wasnt expecting this thing to be as fast as it was on reads and writes. If your main drive is SSD-based, youre in for a treat. Transfers files pretty much as fast as your USB port will send them out.

> 24 hourThis is a great ssd, light and fast, without moving components like normal external hdds that can get scratched or wrecked. If you want a high quality drive to back up to once and then retrieve quickly later with good life expectancy, this is a great bet (if you are over-writing daily or weekly, you probably should skip SSDs). It is, however, pretty expensive. That said, its fairly comparable to similar drives and Western Digital has a long track record of quality. It just is maybe worth looking for this on sale if your need is longer term and not immediate.

> 24 hourThe product is awesome. It is a super lightweight SSD for my personal used. The cable is too short but other than that, everything is awesome so far.

> 24 hourNo complaints here. Been working great so far. I use it all the time to run certain software files off of, since my laptop HD isnt the largest. Heats up a tad after several hours, but thats about it.
