> 3 dayWorks very well. I have three of them. Has a timer function and an astronomical function, so for example you can have it turn ON at sunset and OFF at 11pm. I have one controlling a webcam that’s set up to turn on at sunrise and off at sunset. Another controls landscape lighting that goes on 30 minutes after sunset and off at 10:30pm. The third controls a heated doormat, which I set to come on at 11:59 am and off at noon — I actually only use this occasionally so I turn it on manually and the noon setting is just to turn it off automatically if I forget to turn it off manually. My only complaint is that the manual doesn’t tell you how to change to a new Wi-Fi signal, but if you scan reviews you can find how to do that.

> 3 dayUpdate August 18 2019. Derating to 3 stars, product support is nonexistent, answers to requests for assistance are ignored. I found the way myself to get these smart outlets to work reliably away from home WIFI, it seems for some reason that they dont like the recommended higher levels of router security settings. Set the wifi security to WEP - weaker security - then hide your SSID. You may have to reconnect your devices but I found it does work. Only issue might be that other devices may need the higher level security to work, I have found that too. Luckily I have a dual band router so I have the recommended level of security when using 5G. Bought this few days ago. I use it to control outside pathway lights on a timer, its located only a foot above ground level plus 50ft from the access point and I had doubts about the WiFi signal but, its fine. Initial setup took me more than an hour because the connection instructions are confusing. I could not get it to connect at first - it couldnt see my SSID / WiFi name. First I had to do a reset, then enter my zip code (why?) WiFi SSID manually and then password (Obviously). After that it worked but gave a bad impression at first. Timer controls on the APP are easy to setup. Overall I am pleased with it so far.

> 3 dayThe hardware seems to be well made, but software is pretty bad. It seems that Woods has done almost nothing to fix it other than rebranding the Eco Plugs software to look different. For me, the biggest shortcoming is the astronomical timer, where the on/off setting are limited to three hours and 59 minutes before/after sunrise/sunset. For landscape lighting this potentially great feature is made useless by the software. Woods, if you are reading this, PLEASE FIX THE ASTRONOMICAL TIMER.

> 3 dayWorks great. I use it to turn on the block heater for my diesel pickup. My only problem has been between the chest freezer and block heater on the circuit it adds just enough amps to the GFI that it will trip sometimes. Not sure if its because of the extra plug connection in the mix, some corrosion on the plugs involved, or the tiny amount of power this thing draws. Gonna clean up the plug ends and put dielectric grease on them to see if it helps. If not Ill go pick up a GFI with a higher current rating.

> 3 dayI first purchased one of these nifty little devices to control a table fountain located on my patio table and to my surprise it worked great! So I ordered two more, one for another fountain in my backyard, and one for the mister pump for the patio misters. All three work flawless. The app doesnt always recognize all three timers right away while your device is using mobile data, closing and reopening the app solves this problem. When at home and this happens switch your device to wifi if its not already and all three will appear instantly. Overall for the price the technology and convience these devices provide, the little app problem is minor and is easily overlooked in my opinion. Great job Woods products for another innovative worth while line of devices! I have ordered the indoor power strip to monitor power consumption of my entertainment center. I will write an updated review when I receive this product and give it some time to prove itself.

> 3 dayI started building my smart home system with an outdoor Wi-on triple socket set for remotely controlling Christmas lighting. That device is still in use after three years and working well. The dual-channel device is similar quality and easy to connect to Alexa and the Wion app. As with other smart home products, your mileage may vary depending on the quality of your local wi-fi network. Local interference or obstructions can make the device not work as intended. Search Youtube to find videos on how to improve your wi-fi. In my case, I was able to add an outdoor weatherproof access point and that helps keep this product online and working.

> 3 dayI had a similar unit for Xmas lights control and couldnt find it. I went to order another since I didnt have the time look through all the stuff in our garage (its there somewhere). I found these units on AMZ and they were the half the price of my other unit, so I said what the heck order two of them. I figured if they didnt work, I would return them to AMZ with their ironclad guarantee. Didnt have to, worked as described and quite happy with them. These units do not require a hub and you install them with your router. Havent quite figured out they do other then the units first power up as a router and then you connect and they become a pass through to your regular router. I have other devices that use this method and it seems a bit odd but it works. Either way, no hub or setting up a network account with someone. They have been in for several days not and work great. I now have a very interesting Networks, my hub system, Wifi bulbs using a network account to store schedule and settings and now these devices. As long as I can keep it straight as to what device belongs to which network, should be good.

> 3 dayI ordered two, not knowing what to expect based on prior reviews and hoping they would work at the distance I needed. They worked perfectly! I like the app, though selecting one to program when you have multiple is not intuitive, but once you figure it out, easy enough. The app allows for multiple times to turn on. I used them for outdoor Christmas lights. This was a great choice!

Greater than one weekOverall it works well. The physical form factor is a bit bulky and the short cable length works better in some locations but not in others as it just dangles from the outlet. The phone app (Android) could be simpler and could certainly make better use of smart phone screen space. The UI designers try to hard to make their own interface rather than stick to typical Android UI/menu features. I have three of the plug-ins and I can only see two at a time on the screen. They use an icon to represent each plug in and the icon is about the same size as an Android app icon so in theory I should be able to see up to 20 of them on one screen. As more companies make smart plugs, light bulbs etc I expect there will be a lot of innovation in this space both in the industrial design of the physical plugs and in the UIs to manage them. One can only hope that in the long run there will be standardization so that you can control and manage all of these devices with a common interface. I will hate to have to maintain numerous apps to control all my smart devices but suspect we are a long way from such commonality.
