It shoots Sparks very good

I am already familiar with their excellent striker and ferrocium rod having bought smaller version of the ferrocium rod. A good fire making rod is 50% the ferrocium rod and 50% striker this product has both. If you are on a budget and can only buy one I highly recommend this.

Keep it in my go bag. Cotton balls and some chapstick and you have fire anywhere.

This was a great buy on a great fire steel, nice big chunk of striking rod that showers sparks like a Roman candle when I strike it with the spine of my knife, the striker provided works as well. Thank you for making a great product Ill be purchasing more from your company.

I like the size of the rod however the metal striker fell out of the holder the first day we used it. I wouldve liked something more stable.

I buy a bunch of stuff on Amazon and rarely write reviews, even when companies offer me perks. I had to write one for this ferro rod. Its OUTSTANDING! This sparks like mad. I was able to light stuff with this thing that would never light with other rods. My five year old daughter was using it and she could create sparks. Cant imagine ferro rods get better than this. I have a ferro rod with the paracord and sparker as well as the one with just a hole drilled through it. They are both well worth the money. I put both of them back into my cart again and deleted all the others.
