I cant imagine finding a ferro rod that works any better than this product. With reasonably dry tinder, starting a fire cannot be easier.

Works great! After Striking the coating off, it sparked first strike. Went to light a fire after the fourth strike the embers were burning.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the striker is a little strange to me. Not that it is bad its just a little awkward but it does work. Other than that great product.

I like the bayite 1/2 x 6 fire starter, it is easier to use than smaller rods that cost the same or more. Comes with nice lanyard and a small striker but the striker will get the jod done. Sparks as it should and will last a long time.
