> 24 hourI normally never give a negative review of anything I buy from Amazon, this is an exception. The program would not install and work on a Alienware computer with Windows 7. Their tech support (if you want to call it that) said my computer was too over powered for their program to work. Never heard that excuse before. I was due for a new laptop so bought one with Windows 10. I was able to get the program working on that, but the picture and sound was terrible!!. I installed a SSD in the computer and could do a DVD that was watchable, but still not good. I come to that conclusion by plugging the VCR right into a TV, played it that way and compared the two. Now to the next problem. The DVDs I make wont play on a newer DVD/Blu-ray player, only the older straight DVD player. I find it very strange that you can only get tech support by email?, but I emailed them with that problem. Same old song and dance, they said record at a slower speed, tried that and the picture and sound is terrible so I am giving up on this program and buying something that works and at least has a phone number a person can call for support. If you have a Overpowered Computer and a Blu-ray player, stay clear of this program, its just a waste of time and money.

> 24 hourThis was easy to set up and install. Works exactly as expected and on a Windows 11 laptop. Quality of the video it converts is going to be based on how good a shape the VCR tape and player you have.

> 24 hourRather than spends hundreds of dollars to convert family recordings to digital, this was a golden find. Also allowed me to preserve these family moments and enjoy them again. Without this, I’d have never heard my husband’s voice again after he passed away. When you send your vhs tapes in to be transferred they typically come back with music rather than the audio. Not with this. I was able to easily transfer video and audio! Best ever and so easy to use.

> 24 hourI used this product to digitize an old Betamax tape. I couldnt get the program working on a computer running Windows 8.1, but it did work on my Windows 10 computer. The preview window in the application wouldnt work, but that may be because I was using a Betamax player. Additionally, my computer did not recognize the USB device, and it was only after I clicked around in the program (I had success clicking the audio and video source input toggles) that the light on the device finally lit up and my computer recognized it. Overall, I have looked at several types of this product, and this one is the most reasonably priced and it does its job well, with a few minor issues that dont affect the recording process in any way. Though I cant say how well it does in digitizing VHS tapes, Im sure they record just fine. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone looking to digitize Betamax or VHS tapes.

> 24 hourIt took me almost an entire weekend to figure it out, but once I did, it was great. I must say the directions booklet that came with this product lacked a few details as far as step by step instructions, especially for someone like me who is not computer savvy. After finally going on YouTube, a few details were cleared up for me and I was able to record all of my old family VHS tapes to DVD. Very relieved now that I no longer have to worry about these tapes deteriorating over time. It was worth the time and the $30 spent on the product.

> 24 hourIm always leery of products like this when I read such disparate reviews. But I bought it anyway. I have some old movies on VHS that I want to bring over to MP4 and DVD. The install was very easy. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!! 0. DONT INSTALL THE USB YET!! 1. Install the driver. DONT REBOOT YET 2. Install the software. REBOOT WHEN DONE. DONT RUN IT YET! 3. Plug in the USB (I had it in a USB 3.0 port) 4. Run the software as administrator (or it wont work right I found out) 5. Do the configuration as shown in the booklet I plugged my VCR into the video/audio connections and fired it up. It worked great! The quality of the video is good considering the VHS I was copying isnt the newest. Audio was great. I have quite a number of VHS tapes Im going to move to electronic format. This seems to be the thing to do the trick. Id certainly recommend it. Hooked up

> 24 hourWas an easy plug and use. Just downloaded the software. It was actually harder to find a working vcr to plug in to this than it was to use. Recording my memories to my computer for safekeeping

> 24 hourcopied all vhs videos from my camera to my laptop. Have windows 10. Very easy to use. Make sure you plug everything in and turn on the camera/vcr before you launch the software. Then i just set the video setting in the software to AV to USB 2.0 and the sound to AV to USB 2.0 and that was it. Video and audio recorded great to my laptop. I had about 12 one hour videos and i recorded 2 videos back to back per day.
