Like most electronic items from China, they dont work 100% of the time. This driveway alert works about 9 out of 10 times, not ideal, but better than some others Ive bought on Amazon.

Well I love the unit and decided to add another receiver. All went well until one day before the return date and it went crazy. The siren tune sounds like a sick cricket and the other tunes start off then start chirping !

Ease of installation , volume controllable. Wireless .

Our driveway is 800ft . We have this down our driveway about 750ft from our house and works great. Has different ring tones and volume control.

I have a security camera set up for recording/viewing foxes as they go in and out of a den on my property. I needed something that would detect a fox and record the date/time stamp and give me an audible signal. It looked like the MTPR-4000 would serve the purpose. I emailed Dakota Alert to see if they thought it would work and Jason responded very quickly saying that even though the DCMT-4000 sensor is designed for a much bigger target (fox considered a nuisance alert), with certain sensitivity settings (user settable), it should work. I have had it installed for a week now and have had several fox alerts with no nuisance signals, so I am very happy knowing when my little friends are coming and going and watching them on video.

I did not realise that it would have a USA plug. As we reside in Aus, I assumed you would supply us with an Australian one.

I am very pleased with this product. It works great in our driveway. I would buy it again. I also liked that it was made in the USA.

Easy to install, works best in straight line reception. My first version of this lasted 13 years! Now replacing that one with one even sleeker in look!
