I set up 3 transmitters combinate with 4 receivers, including the door bell without any problems at all... super easy install and programming.

Easy to install, works best in straight line reception. My first version of this lasted 13 years! Now replacing that one with one even sleeker in look!

I have had this driveway monitor for over 15 years and it NEVER FAILS to alert me for any person or car (or large animal, such as deer) entering my driveway. It is beyond valuable. I love it and everyone I know who comes to my home and experiences it asks about it and gets one of their own! I have had this same one all this time and also purchased another one for my mothers home and she also has had hers for a very long time. I replace the battery about once a year and it detects motion several times a day, as I have deliveries often and a lot of visitors. Best value, too! You wont be disappointed!

I purchased this motion detector because it is difficult to know when someone arrives at my house. I did not want an involved security system and I do not need my phone to ding with video every time someone stops by. I just want to know when my friends get here so I can open the door. ;-) This detector works slightly over 100 feet away. The receiver has some trees between it and the detector that do not interfere. The unit was easy to install with a Phillips screwdriver. I was done in five minutes. It took longer to read the instructions. Other detectors cost significantly more and require underground wire installations and rigamarole. My needs are not that great so this unit works perfectly.

Dakota continues to be the best choice in remote alarms. I have been using them for over 10 years. This new line of products is even better than before and the range is unbelievable. Match one or two base stations and a remote if needed. The entire system is easy to program and install. I highly recommend it and Im NOT getting compensated for this review.

Appears to not work when its really cold out. Only works periodically. One vehicle goes by and it goes off, the next vehicle it doesnt go off. Not impressed.

Ordered one transmitter and three receivers, one receiver did not work. Called customer service and received the new one in two days. Absolutely happy with product and service. It is great to deal with a good company!

The sensor can only detect up to 15ft when set to its maximum 100 ft range. The transmitting had good range and penetration but the sensor is virtually useless.

This is the first of 3-4 recent driveway alert devices I have purchased that actually works! It has only been installed 4 days but has detected every vehicle and pedestrian. During that time we also received 3-4 alerts for unidentified reasons. Those could have been a neighborhood cat, racoon, etc. or false alerts. When I disassembled the unit for programming, I failed to notice the rubber seal between the two sections. I called Customer Service to inquire about a seal and was surprised to have a real person answer the phone. He offered to send a seal, just in case mine did not have one. When the new seal arrived, I took the unit apart again and found it did have a seal however I also found water in the unit. Tonight, I added electrical tape to the seam between the two halves. That should work until I can find better tape. After 11 days usage, the unit started going off every 5 minutes, even with the sending unit face down on a table. Returned the unit for a refund.

I have had an earlier version in use for 15 years which served us well and decided to freshen the system. They have added a filter which has completely eliminated any alarms from wind blown branches and bushes without missing any vehicle or pedestrian traffic. Very pleased.
