> 3 dayHit and miss on detecting vehicles coming up or leaving via the driveway. My son drops off his daughter at my house before daylight. Hasnt ever detected his truck. I have the range set at 25 and it is less than that to the driveway. Usually detects people walking in driveway.

> 3 dayThe alarm came when promised. The only hard part was taking the back off of transmitter because the 4 screws required a #1 Phillip head screwdriver which was only one we didnt have. I did not change any settings inside ( filter, range or led light ). 9v battery which not included . I used the swivel mount on the out side of the house. For receiver the tune was very easy to set . There was about 8 or 10 tunes to pick from. Volume also has the off. Just keep hitting button. Alarm was catching large trucks or school buses so I adjust the position. Ill see how it does when snows or rain. I do have it protected under the roof overhang. Will update if theres a problem.

Greater than one weekWe bought this alarm last fall, and I wonder how we lived without it now. We have a long driveway, and I love the security of knowing when anyone is coming up the drive. It was easy to set up.

> 3 dayWas excited to find a product from a reputable company that showed the potential if 1 mile transmittal distance. What a disappointment ! The items seem like decent build quality. The tones are a bit dated in such a digital age. Easy to install. Too bad it didnt reach 1200 with nearly line of sight. The receiver is in a metal pole building, but I really didnt expect to lose over 3/4 the transmission distance. Ill place the receiver in a window sill tomorrow and try again at the preferred location (1200 away). If that doesnt help its, sadly, headed back. An option for an external antenna on the receiver would be a nice feature. Some better tones would help as well. We shall see tomorrow if it stays or if it goes. Ill update this review if I can.
