Im primarily lactose intolerant with milk, and while it used to cause me a slight discomfort when I was younger, has slowly gotten worse as Ive gotten older. Before I started using this product I had all but eliminated milk of any kind from my diet, including the whey protein that I use a lot as it would make me feel very sick. Like the instructions say, I usually only use one pill per serving of milk, but in the morning seem to need two Lactaid pills to feel okay if I consume milk. This is a good product though, and one that Ill likely to be using for some time.

Took 1 litre of whole milk the first day i started using these lactaid caplets and im happy to say that i didnt feel any movements or discomfort in my tummy whatsoever. I realised something was wrong o_o or more or less, right this time. lol I dont remember the last time i took so much milk and had no effects whatsoever. Ive always had bloating, random noises & some kind of weird pain in my tummy, and even diarrhea (when i take too much at a time without much solid food). These caplets have helped me so much so that since i started taking this last month, more than once ive forgotten to take some before having dairy products but ive never had any discomfort whatsoever in any of these instances. I know, o_o I was surprised too. This is just how much this supplement has been of help to me. Ive been really surprised each time i forgot to take dairy with a caplet and i experienced no effects whatsoever. (Maybe its cause i take some almost every day?) well, idk. But im just glad it works :D Only thing i regret is not buying more the first time since its pretty much impossible to get these where i live, but im definitely gonna order more before i ran out soon. I dont know why i didnt find this earlier. Seriously. My life wouldve been a whole lot easier with this. :( Ask me if ill recommend it? Well ive already started recommending this to people i come across every day whove dairy issues! :) Hope it works for them as well as it did me! ^_^

maybe its just my stomach but these only help reduce some of the pain and problems after eating a small amount of dairy, still cant eat or drink a normal ammount without getting sick, but thats my stomach, may work for someone else, they do help though

Ive been waiting for this my whole life!! Being lactose intolerant is not something I signed up for. I had no idea that this existed until I did some research on people like me that love cheese, ice cream, not so much milk, but did I say cheese?! Especially now since I go to my local farmers market every week and get the best cheeses ever!! With that being said, there is a price to pay after every delicious bite. But now….. let me tell you. This stuff really works! I had my doubts, really I did. Then I said, well, what do I have to lose? This stuff makes me feel like I can be in the same room with anyone, without feeling like something is about to burst out of my stomach!! I literally would lay in bed sometimes hoping no one would knock on my door wanting to come in to my room only to enter a room filled with extreme foul smells from the outcome of eating cheese!! Very gross, but very true! I only believe in blunt honest reviews, just to make you understand in some way where Im coming from. So if any of this relates to you, then this is something you cannot live without.

Unlike other allergies that some of my friends face, my lactose intolerance is easily managed. If I dont want any symptoms, I avoid dairy. But if Im out with friends, over to someones house for dinner, or just feel like a creamy cold treat on a warm summers day, then out comes the Lactaid pills. These pills come in convenient packaging that allows you to put them in your pocket so you are ready whenever you have that dairy craving. I always have a few in my purse and around the house. And I never forget them at restaurants since all sorts of dishes that seem dairy-free actually have some dairy in them. When I take these pills with dairy I dont get any usual lactose intolerance symptoms and am able to enjoy some of my favorite meals and desserts. Just one pill lasts through an entire meal or appetizers as a party, etc. Even if you are lactose intolerant and choose to just avoid all dairy all the time, I would advise having these on hand just in case. If you do eat something that you think is non-dairy, and then you get that feeling, you can easily swallow one of these and at least alleviate the severity of your discomfort. Warning - If you eat a meal and then take a pill after, though, the pill will have no effect and will not help with any of your usual symptoms. These pills DO NOT work for dairy allergies. That is a much different and much more serious problem.

Buying in a bottle without foil packets is so convenient.

As I have gotten older my tolerance to dairy is not what it used to be and I would not feel great and really bloated after eating or drinking dairy. This solved all of that. I dont like the taste of lactose free milk so this really saved me as I do like dairy. BTW hard aged cheeses do not have lactose in them as it is digested in the process of being made. Just a small bit of information I learned.

Apparently I have... lactose intolerance?? I suffered with horrifying digestive issues for nine years until I discovered lactase supplements. Ive tried several. Lactaid Fast Act is the only lactase supplement Ive found that is high dose (9,000 fcc units) and doesnt contain sugar alcohols. Ive had my gall bladder removed. So, I have absolutely no tolerance for sugar alcohols. Not sure why manufacturers producing lactase supplements (designed to treat digestive issues) would bind them with a toxic substance that turns my bowels inside out. Thats just mean!! Im just glad Lactaid makes this version. Hopefully, theyll continue.

Ive been taking these for a few years. At first there was an infrequent about 1/50 chance of a miss where I got stomach pain even after taking the pill. It may have been a dud pills, or maybe just more dairy than it could handle. I solved this by now taking two pills every time. 1/50 chance * 1/50 chance = 1/2500 chance. I went from severe stomach pain every few months to once every few YEARS.
