Works well. Have had some issues installing but once installed, works well with Apple Home App.

So these smart plugs worked really great, and the response was quick as well. But then all of a sudden 3 out of 4 stopped working. The one working had not been connected previously. And the 3 that didn’t work anymore had been connected to devices. I had re-started, re-booted, erased them countless times from the home app and the Meross app itself but the same issue everytime. It would tell me either to restart the device before adding, or restart the device because it already belonged to another home. I called customer service and followed all the instructions they asked for, which was pretty much the same thing as rebooting the devices, they asked for things like sending them piks, videos of me restarting each device, and codes for each device as well. They responded fairly quickly but up until now they just stopped replying for no reason. It’s been almost a week and still no response. This really sucks because I’ve never had to write a bad review especially only because the customer service stopped replying for no reason so I feel like if they just didn’t want to deal with the issue anymore. I really liked the smart plugs and wish they could start working again because spending $40 on 3 out of 4 plugs feels wrong. But oh well i guess, still hoping that they will reply Update: i was told to be patient and that my replacements would be delivered in the 4th of February 2022. It’s now the 9th and i am very disappointed in how the customer service is handling this. Meross send me an email to contact another company i guess and still nothing. No update no email stating it would be late.

After struggling with a set from Kasa, these are working perfectly. I added them to the Apple Home app using the QR codes on each plug, no need to install a 3rd party app. I just works, I added them to my HomeKit automations in just a few minutes and I was all set.

Pro: size - two plugs easily fit in a standard double outlet and on standard size power strip (on compact strips you would still be able to fit a two-prong plug next to it.) This is a huge improvement over the old TP-link plug that took up 2 spaces on my power strip even when it was placed on the top (see picture.) Operation & Integration - once connected the plug just work. I quickly forgot that they werent always there; waiting for my command. I can turn off all the lights in the house from the iphone flip-up screen. Installation - Like a lot of Meross products, the plug has EZ mode and AP mode. The detail instruction sheet takes you through EZ mode. However, the plugs were all in AP mode (slow blink) and I could not get it to blink fast even after 3 resets. Once you get over the fact that the instruction sheet is quite unhelpful and follow the instructions below, and you will find that installation is a breeze. 1. Plug it in. Make sure that the light blinks green/amber. If its steady green, as in a previous setup, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to get it into setup mode. 2. on you iPhone, go to Settings | Wireless. wait a few seconds until the plug shows up under the heading set up new device... The name is meross_sw_B210 or something similar... Click on it. 3. You now get a message that allows you to Add to Home & Wi-Fi (see picture.) Smash that link to turn on the camera and scan the top of the plug to add it into Homekit. 4. After about 30 seconds Homekit allows you to select the room and name of the new device. The phone automatically switch back to you home wireless network. cons: Not a huge issue, but the position of the button on the side of the plug could be challenging to your less techie household members. The ability to share homekit settings with everyone can mitigate the issue, but Im a bit concern that Ill get a talking-to the next time my wife tries to turn on the floor lamp in the den. I have a couple of floor lamps and my Roku device connected to plugs. No more having to get up to manually reset Roku. A voice command to Alexa does the trick. The 4th plug is connected to my electric tea kettle to schedule it for my morning brew (until I get a smart tea kettle, but thats a battle for another day.)

Wow, seems like the search has ended I been looking for a HomeKit compatible plug and I do extensive research before buying this kind of gadgets, unfortunately haven’t found a trusted one and ended buying a “TP” product but seems like they are getting behind the Meross brand eventually I’m switching over Meross products because with my experience they are reliable enough. I switched my MyQ garage opener for the Meross and no regrets and replacing all my smart plugs as well and having the option of Apple’s HomeKit is a plus I been using Google Home integration but if HomeKit is available I prefer it 100% I also updated to the Meross Collie on their Indiegogo campaign and I’m very happy with the result the other Meross worked good but as mentioned I prefer the HomeKit integration with no doubt. I’m using this plug for my coffe maker, bedroom salt lamp and security cameras and they work wonderfully with no disconnection or malfunction as others I have tried, really happy with this smart mini plugs. Meross app work extremely well and gets constant updates so they care about their products and customers and that is most important thing, I’m a happy new customer and going to replace everything to Meross in the near future. I wanted a HomeKit compatible outlet and this nicely reviewed product fit the bill. There was a learning curve of a few tries to get a connection. It is very frustrating that the the sunrise or sunset option in automation is off by hours.

Took long to pair these with apple HomeKit. I had to try so may options. Once configured, they work just fine. Great with Siri and apple HomeKit. Will buy again.

The plugs are easy to install and setup. They work well with both Alexa and Google Assistant.

HomeKit smart plugs are a blessing and a curse sometimes. When they set-up correctly the first time and just work it is awesome. Other times, they are a pain. Since I have a mesh Orbo network, I sometimes get the curse result. With no simply way to turn off the 5G network, any HomeKit plugs that need the 2.4 network can be trouble to get setup. Ive had more pain with iHome plugs than any. So I tried these a while back. I liked them so much Ive twice bought more of them and retired the iHome plugs permanently. I have a total of 14 and ten connected via the Apple Home app immediately. The other 4 took a couple of resets, lowering the power of my mesh network 5G side to make everything connect to the 2.4 network. But, bottom line is they work and they havent dropped off or disappeared from HomeKit or show no response like iHome did. I also own their outdoor plugs and no issues there either. Bottom line, they work!

I have purchased about a dozen of these for different houses. They are generally easy to set up with HomeKIt. However, there are a number of inconsistencies that seem to point to manufacturing issues: 1) Out of the box, some dont set up easily, others do. Same wifi, same location. 2) Some seem to lose connectivity once set up, others dont. Again, same wifi and same location. A few will frequently be updating when I want to control them. I like them, like the price point and buy in sets of, but may have to look for alternatives if 25-50% of the pack arent useable.
