> 3 dayI live in a townhouse where water damage can be very costly not only to my own property but also to the adjacent units around me. I know this firsthand when my neighbors water heater leaked and damaged our drywall and carpet. Most water damage start out undetected and almost invisible behind walls and appliances such as refs and washers. So one way of getting ahead of the game is to get informed and stop the problem right away as soon as it occurred. These automated valves are perfect for the job. Dont find out in the hard and costly way. Get these early warning/prevention system now. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayOur out of town condo has a washer/dryer on the second floor. Been there for over 20 years. Watched a This Old House episode where they talked able potential leaks in washer hoses. Found this product, ordered it and went up and installed it in the condo. Has a leak detector which sits on the floor and I tested it by dropping it in a bucket with some water in it. The system shut off both water outlets. Maybe we would never have had a problem but now have piece of mind that I wont go up to our condo and find a waterfall in the living room.

> 3 daySecond unit ordered and installed same issue. Works fine for a couple months then sets off for no reason and can’t reset it. WORTHLESS!!

> 3 dayInstalled this last weekend without any issues. Valves went on easily and ran the system through the test mode to make sure the valves opened and closed. Have not tested the sensor out, but all seems to be working. Even the alarm horn is loud and annoying as it should be.

> 3 dayI had a plumber install this according to the instructions. The unit is defective and the yellow light kept blinking no matter what I did in setup. No customer support # to call. I’m having the whole thing ripped out so I can go back to using my washing machine!

> 3 dayI brought this product in April 2022 for a difficult to access stacked second floor washer/dryer. Following a repair issue 12/2121, the washer drain hose became dislodged, and the device detected water on the floor, properly shutting off the water. I am grateful that it worked, however, the valves will not reopen. The washer shut off with a low flow error message. I have taken the unit out of service, disconnected the wifi component, extensively dried the sensor, but the solenoids are stuck closed. So, in summary, the product worked ONCE, then became useless. Although I understand it prevented a costly leak repair, for the money, I would expect this product to reset and continue to work more than once.

> 3 dayInstallation was pretty easy, but connecting it to the wifi is impossible!! I have tried for days. The app sends me no new message message all the time- many times a day, even though nothing is connected to the app.

05-04-2025I spent a ton of time installing this only to find out I need a dedicated 2.4Ghz connection to get it to work. Every other device in my house automatically connects to the 2.4 radioband without an issue but this device won’t. This was according to the rep I talked to. My internet company and router can’t split the bands so I have to undo all my hard work and return it. Such a bummer.

04-04-2025Installation was a quick with an easy step by step procedure- Plenty of cables to place the devices where it is convenient for care and operation Peace of mind is Knowing that the water will be turned off if a leak is detected.

> 3 dayI bought this just last week, and with the proper tools, I was able to install it in under an hour. Since the pipes at home were coming from above and there was not enough space, I had to cut off a bit of the wall from above to accommodate the blue/red motors ( which closes and opens the pipes). I initially thought about installing these upside down but I am not sure of gravity will have any effect on the blue/red motors. Everythings works for now. Unplugging the main controller,or pushing the test and vacation mode buttons shuts off the pipes. This will give me piece of mind at least when we are out especially on vacations. Our washers are upstairs so imaging the damage that this could do. And as a background, our house is fairly new and about less than a year into owning it, there was water dripping from upstairs to the bathroom downstairs. We found out that the connection from the pipe to the washer hose has been dripping for perhaps a couple of days prior. We had still warranty on the house back then so we did not have to pay any. I bought this as I want to prevent that from happening again as that will surely cost more than the 99$ plus tax I paid for this. I have zwave devices installed at home but I thought that Id go with this as this shuts off when the electricity is off. I am not sure about the zwave device for water shut off, but I know that in case the electricity is off, then my zwave hub is also off. Another factor is that sometimes there is a glitch in the zwave system where I have to repeat commands. I plan to install a zwave device (to shut off the main water line) as a back up for the whole house, but this device is good for what I just mentioned - not relying on a network that may not work when you need it most. Of course, I am not really looking forward to the day that I may need this but I call it insurance and assurance.
