> 3 dayThe c-clip on the inlet side of valves (the side that screws onto the supply tap) can become unseated as others have noted and I wish I had heeded. This can lead to leaks and ultimately complete failures (completely open tap water release) which the shutoff valves themselves cannot stop. So the valves themselves can cause massive leaks that they cannot correct. At least the alarm still works. We were lucky to hear to the alarm in time to catch it with just a small leak but in turning off the supply valve I jostled the line slightly and the c-clip became completely unseated (photo) resulting in a short period with the tap completely open. I expect giving enough time the c-clip would have fully dislodged due to the slight shaking of the hose by the running washer. We were really, really lucky. This product is showing as currently unavailable. I hope it has been pulled until the manufacturer can prove it has corrected this flaw/quality issue. Im editing this review to add that I reached out to the manufacturer. The manufacturer only communicated that the product was no longer under warranty.

> 3 dayThe company that put this kit together spent a lot of time on the packaging, manual the control box and shut-off valves. Very well laid out and very very simple to install. The kit comes with everything you need, including a template to mount the box, tape, screws, wire ties, even an extra outlet! They really thought of everything. Not sure if you have ever installed a Floodstop but they could take a Big lesson from this company ! Floodstop just gives you some parts and a generic install manual that is for all of the products. You have to go to the hardware store to get the needed fittings. I would like to see this company make a unit for the furnace dehumidifier which notoriously leaks now and then. For the price, it is a great value! No point to a photo for it looks exactly like the one posted.

> 3 dayProfessional packaging. All parts included..even a three plug adapter. Very easy to install. Five stars - but hoping I never really find out how well it works if a washer hose starts to leak. Although its not cheap, I paid more quite a few years ago at Home Depot for s similar item that started leaking (couldnt fix it) after a couple of years.

Greater than one weekGood quality material, simple design and easy to install. I tested it with a small amount of water on the floor and the valves shut off within a few seconds. It may never be needed but for those of us that have spent months fixing the damage from a water leak this device gives some peace of mind.

> 3 dayI live in a townhouse where water damage can be very costly not only to my own property but also to the adjacent units around me. I know this firsthand when my neighbors water heater leaked and damaged our drywall and carpet. Most water damage start out undetected and almost invisible behind walls and appliances such as refs and washers. So one way of getting ahead of the game is to get informed and stop the problem right away as soon as it occurred. These automated valves are perfect for the job. Dont find out in the hard and costly way. Get these early warning/prevention system now. Highly recommended.

06-04-2025This automatic shut off system worked....well sorta... It was attached to our washing machine supply line with the moisture detector placed on the floor directly under the connector hoses. In the middle of the night, we were awakened to a loud alert; the detector identified water. However, it was a slight leak coming from a nearby utility sink supply line that reached the sensor and not the washing machine itself. The system turned off the water to our washing machine. My husband and I quickly turned off the supply lines to the leak source at the utility sink and then spent the next 2 hours trying to reset the system so that the water supply to the washing machine could be restored as that was not the source of the leak. Frustratingly, the reset button does NOT reset the system. The instructions say that it will automatically reset when the floor sensor is dry. That has not happened either. We have tried manually drying the sensor with a towel and then with a hair dryer. The system will still NOT reset and restore water to the washing machine. Our last attempt at drying the sensor....we have it sitting in a bag of rice for the past 4 days and will try again. If this does not resolve the ability to reset the system, we will need to remove the system and search for a new product. Update. My husband ended up contacting the company. The customer representative said that to reset the product so that the valves will open the water supply lines, the system needs to be unplugged from its power source until all lights on the system go stop blinking and go out. This can take anywhere from 30-45minutes. Then once the system is reconnected to power, then valves will open. This information is NOT FOUND anywhere in the manual OR on the website!!!!! We did as verbally instructed by customer service and the system did reset. Manual NEEDS TO BE UPDATED!

Greater than one weekThe install was faulty easy and straightforward. Tested the valves and they worked. Sensor worked. Everything fine on that side. However, the WiFi module will not work. The status and link lights will not turn on and I cannot connect it to my WiFi. I was without a washer for a while because of a leak and it was a huge pain taking my stacks down and doing the repairs. I haven’t gotten up the motivation to take it all apart again and mail the unit back for the WiFi malfunction.

05-04-2025I bought this to protect against major leaks in a 2nd floor laundry room. The product is well made and packaged, and includes good instructions. The included hardware for wall mounting was cheap (as is the case with most products), so I used my own. The included template for marking the holes was a nice touch. I first set it up in the kitchen to verify the operation of the valves and the water sensor......everything worked great. Once I connected the fittings to the original valves in the wall, I realized that I would not be able to push the washer back to its previous location. Would have lost a few inches do to the electronic valves and fitting. So I decided to cut slots in the plastic housing in the wall to allow the valves to move further into the wall. That worked great and allowed the washer to slide all the way back to its original position. I like the indicators on the control unit that let you know if the valves are open or closed. It also has a vacation mode that can be used to close the valves with the push of a button. And the valves also close in the event of a power failure. I am confident that this product will perform if necessary, which is worth the cost and time to install.

> 3 dayDefinitely feel safe from floods with this! Tested it in a cup of water and it shut right down and blared an alarm. Very happy I chose this one. I had a plumber install it since he was installing the washer line and he seamed to install it pretty quickly. He did say he never installed one before so it must have been pretty easy.

> 3 dayThis appears to be a really well made set of shutoff valves for washing machine leaks. It is very easy to install; took mr about 15 minutes. The kit comes with everything you need. They seem to have thought of everything, including the possibility that the AC wall outlets are already fully in use.
