This device is amazing. It works just like promised. This can definitely save you’re walls and floor if a hose or pump started leaking. Soon as water touches the sensor the alarm goes off and the valves immediately shut off. It even has WiFi and an app for your mobile device to let you know of a problem

I believe I got a defective unit. After install, I could hear the valves opening to allow the water to flow. Problem was water only flowed initially. Newer washer is computer controlled for its water needs. When washer requested more water, none was forthcoming. Did the valve close dont know. Only know the error message was that water was not supplied and washing machine shut off.

Easy to install! Great protection and peace of mind for my 2nd floor laundry room. I am a former insurance adjuster and have seen the damage that can happen when there is a leak in a 2nd floor laundry room. I always buy the upgraded braided metal hoses but even those have a warning that they need to be changed yearly. Who does that? Not me. Also great that with a push of a button the water can be shut off to washer before I leave on vacation. Great product!!

Installed this last weekend without any issues. Valves went on easily and ran the system through the test mode to make sure the valves opened and closed. Have not tested the sensor out, but all seems to be working. Even the alarm horn is loud and annoying as it should be.

The c-clip on the inlet side of valves (the side that screws onto the supply tap) can become unseated as others have noted and I wish I had heeded. This can lead to leaks and ultimately complete failures (completely open tap water release) which the shutoff valves themselves cannot stop. So the valves themselves can cause massive leaks that they cannot correct. At least the alarm still works. We were lucky to hear to the alarm in time to catch it with just a small leak but in turning off the supply valve I jostled the line slightly and the c-clip became completely unseated (photo) resulting in a short period with the tap completely open. I expect giving enough time the c-clip would have fully dislodged due to the slight shaking of the hose by the running washer. We were really, really lucky. This product is showing as currently unavailable. I hope it has been pulled until the manufacturer can prove it has corrected this flaw/quality issue. Im editing this review to add that I reached out to the manufacturer. The manufacturer only communicated that the product was no longer under warranty.

UPDATE: Have been speaking with seller. Fully willing to send a replacement and update with the newer version. Great service on their part so moving to 5 stars. First review: We installed the units and initially they worked great. After a few months, the top portion, Blue valve, now is leaking slowly. All of the connections are good but it leaks from the top. After searching for a customer service number to see about an exchange, I cannot find anything and there is no way to return. Will update the rating if able to connect with seller and get resolved.

Installation is easy if your valves are the right type. I had a plumber install mine since he had to change out a stuck water shutoff valve. The mechanism sense a very slight amount of water from the install and immediately shut off. It reset after the sensor was wiped dry. I havent had the need for it to work due to a leak, but was happy it tested out well. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Bought this in January and my plumber installed in March. I bought to prevent water damage to my new hard wood floors. The cold water valve is defective and the slow leak caused water damage to my floors over the course of two months and the alarm did not go off or shut off water. What was purchased to prevent water damage caused it. Very disappointed in this product. Vendor is not answering my question about fixing my damage.

I bought this to protect against major leaks in a 2nd floor laundry room. The product is well made and packaged, and includes good instructions. The included hardware for wall mounting was cheap (as is the case with most products), so I used my own. The included template for marking the holes was a nice touch. I first set it up in the kitchen to verify the operation of the valves and the water sensor......everything worked great. Once I connected the fittings to the original valves in the wall, I realized that I would not be able to push the washer back to its previous location. Would have lost a few inches do to the electronic valves and fitting. So I decided to cut slots in the plastic housing in the wall to allow the valves to move further into the wall. That worked great and allowed the washer to slide all the way back to its original position. I like the indicators on the control unit that let you know if the valves are open or closed. It also has a vacation mode that can be used to close the valves with the push of a button. And the valves also close in the event of a power failure. I am confident that this product will perform if necessary, which is worth the cost and time to install.
