As advertised. Excellent product.

Took awhile to arrive but it’s attractive and serves a valuable purpose.

I have used USB hub via a computer port which does not have enough power to work with the high-capacity external drive. This hub plugin and works well. The price is a little high. The design with individually turn-on ports is great, but you cannot see if it is turned on or off. These are small issues, in general, it is a good hub.

It’s been working fine I’ve been using for a few weeks now and I haven’t had any issues It really works as it says and it’s very good to have these little buttons to turn on/off the port

EDIT: I revised my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. After 3 weeks of use, the power switch on one of the ports failed, so the hub is now a 6 port hub instead of a 7 port hub. I used this switch every day to power a particular device on and off, so it failed after less than a hundred presses. I think I saw someone else mention this same failure in their review. Since it failed within the 30 day return window, back it goes to Amazon for a refund. Ill be shopping for a different brand now. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this powered USB 3.0 hub to consolidate several USB devices I use for music and video production, and hopefully fix problems I had with flakey USB connectivity. It was recommended by one of the device makers so I thought I would give it a try to see if it solved my connectivity issues. Yes, it did! It has the bandwidth to handle several USB 3 video camera streams and audio streams over one USB 3.0 port on my computer, and enough power for them all. I now can simply launch my recording software and start producing without spending time troubleshooting the USB ports and connections. I didnt realize when I bought this how useful the separate power switches for each port would be. Before, I had to unplug each video capture device when not in use since they heat up while powered. Since I dont use every device in every production, it was a mess juggling cables to connect and power only the devices I was using. Now, I keep them all plugged into the hub and simply press the buttons to power up only the devices I need to use in this session. It has simplified my life dramatically! I was also surprised how compact it is. The photos make it look larger than it is, which is fine by me. Table space is always at a premium! The only only issue is the included 3 ft cable is a little short for my needs, so I replaced it with a 10 ft USB 3.0 cable.

The USB charging port does not work or charge. Dont waste your money.

As of this moment, I can use 2 external drives and one small flash drive without any problem. Well see how long that lasts! Plugging in more than that confuses the device. Until today, using the fast charging port for my phone worked perfectly as well, but alas, that no longer works. Oh well. Update: yep, the other ports are dying as well. Ive had it less than a month.
