20-04-2025Unlike some other USB hubs Ive bought, which seem rather finicky about what you connect to it (some things work, some dont) this one fired up right away and every single thing worked on the very first try when I booted up. I was actually floored, my mouse worked, my keyboard worked, etc. It seemed almost like a dream to be honest. Ive always found one or two things that dont work with these. So I can wholeheartedly recommend this 100%!!!!

> 3 dayThis is a great product. Super easy to use, and great quality. You cannot use this with an external wifi adapter, but I think thats par for the course with any external USB device. I can use ANY other USB device on this - wireless mouse, USB memory stick, keyboard, etc.

14-04-2025EDIT: after over a year the hub is still working with no issues, I found though that 3 external hard drives is too much power draw as one of them keeps disconnecting and reconnecting over and over with my USB mic and 2 keyboards also connected to the hub. Can confirm it will support 3 ssds with the same load though. I bought tis to extend my USB ports on my laptop cause i do have a lot of USB devices that i use and some are kind of power hungry when used together. i mounted it with double sided tape to my desk as i really only need extra ports when im home. Pros: - the hub feels very solid and well made, its made from real metal and it feels like it wont break if it takes a bad fall. -the buttons for turning on and off different ports makes connecting and disconnecting devices much simpler and if i need to disconnect my mic so nobody can hear me (my mic doesnt have a mute button) it works well. -the indicator lights show which devices are using the data link with the pc and its helpful to see if theres anything causing a problem (more on that in the cons) Cons - theres really only one con i have experienced so far, the hub is powered and the adapter makes it so that my phone charges when its plugged in acting as a internet connection rather than drain like it does when it was plugged into my old unpowered hub. but when i have 7 of the ports in use with all my devices: -Audio technica AT2020 USB mic -GK68XS RGB mechanical keyboard -Coolermaster CK552 RGB mechanical keyboard -Steelseries Sensei Ten mouse -2 external hdd enclosures (1tb hdd and 500gb ssd) - and my oneplus 7t used as a tethering device for internet when all these are plugged in the external drives start to randomly disconnect and reconnect repeatedly so when i know i am going to be using my phone as internet for gaming i use the buttons to disconnect the drives and keep them off till im done gaming and disconnect my phone. other than that issue the only thing i can say is that the adapter cable is kinda short and thats it its a really good product.

> 3 dayThis little powered up allows me to get all the advantages of USB3 speed, and its truly plug and play - every external device Ive plugged into this has immediately connected up and been available at full transfer rates, so its suitable for use with transferring hard drive data, for example. works perfectly with my Windows 10 machines and my Raspberry Pis. I really like that I can shut off one device without having to kill power to all of them - keeps my Chia farm efficient! Nice price, great device.

> 3 dayPurchased this in April 2021, and sadly 5 of the ports died in the past 1-2 months. Not all at once mind you, but more of a gradual affair. Worked well for a little over a year, but had to go out to Micro Center to get a replacement hub, which is working flawlessly.

> 3 day2 of the ports have already stopped working and Im kind of ticked about it. Im a pretty techy person, so its not user error. I tried turning the offending ports off and on. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back on. I did various combinations of both actions. No dice. Super annoyed, but would rather have 5 ports than go without for the amount of time it would take to try and return and get a new one.

> 3 dayThe thin profile and the on/off switches make this hub a good choice. It hasproved reliable and sturdy, and I would recommend it to anyone needing a hub.

> 3 dayI have a a MACBook and it doesnt come with and USB ports so this hub has been a game changer for me. Its light but built very well. It took seconds to get it hooked up and working for me. The coolest feature is the independent switches. Sometimes you are not using certain USB items that are plugged in but dont want the hassle of unplugging it. This awesome hub has switches that allow you power on or power your USB at the press of a button. This one feature is makes this unit an easy 5 star for me. I love it, use it every single day and its seriously improved my life. If youre on the fence about this, I recommend getting it. Its been a game changer for me :)
