No issues and works fine. Getting fast charge, and great transmit speeds. Thought I wouldnt have use of the individual power buttons on each port, but found it useful for leaving rechargables still plugged in after fully charging. Also little usb lamps, speakers, and accessories you can power on off with the buttons.

As a content creator, I use this hub to power multiple things such as Portable Hard drives, Smart Phone, USB Memory card readers, Drawing Tablets and more. So far everything works, even my usb gaming head set that have a mic. Transfer of files have no dropping of speed. One note is that it came damaged/scratched on the front. See the attached photo. it was scratched through the protective film, but otherwise, the whole thing is working good. Wished QA done a better job before packaging it up and sending it out, but its not an issue as its far end of my computer table! If i could do 4.5 due to the QA check, i would, but since i cant, they will get a 5 star for fast shipping!

I bought this USB Hub ikuai 5 Port USB USB Hub 3.0 Splitter with 4 Port USB Hub +1 USB Fast Charging and very satisficed with it. Doing the job. Easy to connect my external hard drive to the laptop. Connecting 3 item for the same time. Recommended to buy.

I bought this hub hoping that the external power would help solve the problems I have had with larger USB 3.0/3.1 flash drives not mounting. It DID. This device provides enough power so that some of the flash drives that I had marked bad, now work without error. Apparently, the built-in USB 3.0 port on my PC doesnt provide sufficient power for some devices (not unusual). I am extremely pleased Nicely build quality and look. The individual switches are solid and provide a nice feel when turning on and off.

MODIFIED REVIEW I liked it so I ordered another one. The second one had two switches that were defective in that you had to really mash down hard (almost punch them down) in order to get them to stay in the ON position; they toggled OFF normally however. That goes to lack of quality control at assembly and test. I could have returned it, but it was just not worth my time and I can mash the two ON/OFF switches as needed. If mashing them down was not a useful workaround the defect, then yes, back it would be going. Otherwise, it performed normally. Consequently I downrated it one star from five to four. ORIGINAL REVIEW I chose this product because I specifically wanted a vertical placement of the drives into the hub and the charging feature was an added benefit. The individual ON/OFF port switches are very handy for me; however the port LEDs are a bit anemic and with the placement on my desk, the task lighting makes the LEDs almost invisible. As an aside, I cant see the LEDs because I have positioned the hub with the charging port facing me, so even if the LEDs were acceptably bright, I would not be able to see them anyway. If I suspect a power problem to a port, I can just flip the hub sideways and look at the LED if need be. It is not an issue for me. I am using the hub on my XPS 8940 WIN-10 PC with no functional issues. It seems to perform as advertised; the price is very reasonable and hence the five stars.

Its is powerful to handle power hungry portable hard drives but the led light showing which usb port is switched on is too dim. Its difficult to see if there is a light on and the glass strip is too reflective.

This is an amazing USB3 hub with great features. It is fast and works great at a price that cant be beat.
