> 24 hourBy far the fastest hard drive I have ever used. Boot time is now half of what is was for my Windows 7 machine. Easy to install and very small. Just remember to get an adapter bracket if you are going to mount it in a PC.

> 24 hourThis was perfect!! Have a Dell N5110, very slow, unusable slow. No virus or malware just painfully slow. Installed this and BAM!! runs like my 2014 Macbook Air. Very fast boot, very fast program load. All and all most bang for buck upgrade I have ever done to a computer. I will never be without an SSD again. My install required a complete disassembly down to motherboard but most laptops arent that poorly built, easy to change out. Samsung even sends migration software with this drive. I simply new SSD up with and adapter to USB and used included software to clone my old drive to new one. Then installed new drive in laptop, booted and used Samsung software to optimize. Very easy, solid software kudos Samsung. Now to see how long it lasts. Im sure everything will be fine.

> 24 hourBreathed new life into my MacBook Pro, (mid 2010). Made me enthusiastic enough to order more memory for it too it was such a DRAMATIC improvement. Lightning fast boot, super fast app launches and overall improvement in feel. Get one.....you wont regret it.

> 24 hourTo say Im impressed is an understatement! Im running an old (but great ThinkPad t510). My HDD was almost out of space. I use Linux as my OS. 1) Swapped my HDD with the new SSD. (after using Clonezilla) to copy all content. 2) Moved the HDD to a DVD caddy (no need for DVD anymore) for extra storage. My machine is BLAZING fast!! Booted from each drive and no comparison. The Samsung boot is like turning your TV on. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourI dont know if this SSD works or not. I cant get it cloned from my existing desktop hard drive using the USB connection cable and One-Stop Install Navigator Software. So, this review is on Samsungs Support website. Its A DISGRACE -- SAMSUNG SHOULD BE ASHAMED ! If this is the quality of Samsungs support, then it would be foolish to ever purchase another Samsung product, Go to their live chat support and you have every other product EXCEPT SSDs to choose from to chat about. Register your product, click on any help catagory, type in your issue or error message and you get no search results found every time. The Installation Guide that came with the product is totally pictoral, 6 illustrated steps, no explanations. Email Samsung a complaint and they DO NOT RESPOND. This one star reveiw really is a zero on Samsungs product and a MINUS FIVE on Samsungs support. Just in case Mr. Samsung reads this review and is compelled to do diligence, my issue is an error message, cloning failed, An error occured while defragmenting the disk 301400 [049958]. I cant even find information at other online sources on such an error message.

> 24 hourI decided to switch from a traditional HDD running Windows 7 to a SSD running Linux Mint. What a difference! I highly recommend going this route for a quick, bloatware-free system. Mint had no problem discovering and formatting the drive. I have also used the EVO 840 for a netbook and have not had any issues. Note that the DVD with this drive contains plenty of optimization/tweaking software, but it was for Windows.
