SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)

No real world gains from the Samsung 840 EVO, the expanded 5 year warranty is nice though! I bought two more SSDs and placed them in RAID0 for my boot drives, while moving the older 840 EVOs into a RAID0 for my Steam Games. I have several TB of writes on my 256GB 840 EVOs and they are still rocking strong!

After dealing with a Seagate 750 hybrid drive that was supposed to be good for gaming yet constantly having GTA V lag out when loading terrain from the HDD so bad it disconnected me from servers, I went all in and bought this drive. This SSD is extremely fast; cut my boot and loading speed by at least 80%, allows me to download at speeds that are now limited by my internet, and GTA V hasnt lagged even a tiny bit since making it my primary drive.

Replaced my HDD in a 2010 MacBook Pro with the Samsung 850 Evo. Installation was very simple, only took maybe 5-10 minutes (one side note, make sure to get a small philips head and a T6 Torx screwdriver). I clocked the read/write speed before and after I replaced the drive and each was about three times quicker. The computer starts up quicker and applications open and run much faster. Overall, Im very pleased with this purchase. If youre sitting on the fence I would definitely recommend this drive! It will add a huge change to your computer performance for a relatively cheap amount. Also, as an added benefit, an SSD is much lighter and uses less energy than an HDD, so your computer will be slightly lighter in weight and use less energy.

This made my 4 year old laptop a high performance beast, from powered off to logon of Win7 takes 20 seconds flat

Seems to be working quite well! My desktop boots up in 1/10 the time that it used to.

I have a 2010 hp computer and decided to get this drive to improve its performance. Boy did it ever!!! It now boots on average at 30 seconds. Everything is booted in 30 seconds. Wi-Fi, everything. I am extremely happy with this product and the cloning software was very easy and worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this product for any pc.

Ive had two of theservice over the last two years (one for my MacBook and one for my pc) and have no complaints. Its the intersection of cost and performance I want to be at.

After an unfortunate upgrade to Windows 10, I replaced my laptop drive with this and loaded up Linux Mint. The drive is fast and so far has been reliable. It works well with Linux Mint (no Windows on any of my machines and I dont miss them a bit)

This SSD is amazing. And for 97 bucks a steal!
