Upgraded from an older HDD to this Samsung. Easy installation and definitely sped up my computer. It is faster all around but the quicker boot-up is amazing. If I had one complaint, it is that it doesnt come with the tray or cord to install in a tower, but that was probably an oversight no my end.

So fast! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade the speed of their pc. If you are considering this, and you can afford it, get it! Probably the best SATA on the market right now.

Just installed into my 17in Late 2008 MacBook Pro. My old HDD had 320GB and decided to clear out a lot of unnecessary junk on the laptop to get the 250GB. Runs so much faster! Restarting only takes a minute or so and in the simplest measurement, my apps load in 1-2 bounces versus 20 previously! Spotify used to take a few minutes from click to playing a song and now its a few seconds. iMessages loads immediately. I also run Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 for design work and its significantly faster. I dont know why I waited so long. The amount of money I spent and the speed pay off is totally worth it. Install was very easy and there are plenty of YouTube videos out there. Included software might be more useful for non-MacOS users. I went with Carbon Copy Cloner and it was a breeze. It did take a long time to copy from my old HDD so I let it run overnight but no fault of the Samsung SDD. Total time it took me to swap out the drives (minus cloning) was about 20 minutes with interruptions from the cats. Easy as pie!

I am sitting at my eight year old iMac computer because my near hard drive has been successfully installed. At this time I have nothing negative to report. I realized my old computer hard drive was filling up because my photos were duplicating and taking up a lot of place. Now I dont worry. I just need to delete the duplicates. Yikes. A good price and fast FREE delivery to another address. Good service.

Although I cant vouch for the longevity yet, this SSD is very fast. Makes my Core 2 Duo work like a new machine! And my laptop has gained another 1.5 hours of battery life as well.

Fast drive. Once you go SSD , you cant go back. I put these in my laptop and desktop. Both are at the pw login within 10 secs of hitting the power button
