SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)

Used this to replace the HDD on my macbook and it works amazing! Has completely transformed the speed at which programs function and the speed at which the computer wakes up from sleep.

Had to return it for a new one for my Macbook Pro mid 2010 as it wasnt totally functioning with 10.10.3 but now that 10.10.4 came out and the release of El Capitan soon no problems here. Quick and easy swap.

After installing a number of SSDs as upgrades for people Ive found these Samsung Evos to have the best reliability and speed for a reasonable price. This is a good choice for day-to-day use on a moderately loaded system, but if you have a machine under heavy usage with critical data I would suggest looking at the professional series. Dont push your luck though have a good backup solution in place if your data means anything to you.

I swapped the drive in my new slow hp13 x360 with this ssd. Boy what a improvement. The unit is about twice as fast as it was and the provided software made it vary easy to clone the old drive.

Decided to replace an old hard drive that sounded like it was going to die with a Samsung SSD. I had heard good reviews about their products and decided to give it a shot.
