> 24 hourWowsers. My first Evo to upgrade my Thinkpad. Was always skeptical of the price premium of the Evo but got this for a good price and sheesh, the hype is real. Benchmarks dont lie. Noticeably more responsive system than compared to previous Intel drive. Can only imagine how the NVMe version is for desktop.

> 24 hourPlug and play for most, if you’ve updated windows 10 to 1903 then you’ll have to download the migrate software from Samsung to clone your original drive. Went from 2 minute start up to five seconds... runs without a hiccup. 5 stars!

> 24 hourI ordered a drive caddy and once the drive was mounted on the caddy it was easy to install into my 6 year old desktop as the primary drive and has worked perfectly since it was installed 2 months ago. Previously it took over 2 minutes to get to the login page and another 2 to be ready for use. Now the computer is ready to go in less than 30 seconds.

> 24 hourThis drive is replacing an HDD in a laptop. The drive is working fine now but I had to re-clone the old drive using Macrium Reflect. The Samsung SSD would not start windows after cloning with the Samsung data migration software. I cloned the old HDD again using Macrium and it worked flawlessly. Also the Samsung Magician Software says The Drive Is Not Supported This problem appears to be fairly widespread. So minus one star for flawed software creating a needlessly tedious install process.

> 24 hourLate 2011 MacBook Pro... Went from the OEM record player to the SSD.....should have done it sooner. It was a simple process after viewing the steps on Youtube....all the info you need is there. As for hardware, screwdrivers(2), 1 torque, 1 tiny Phillips...a cloning cable or SSD external drive holder....everything was about $80 total. Cloning program is free (SuperDuper). I also went from 4GB RAM to 8GB ($42)...ridiculously EASY !

> 24 hourBeen using samsung ssd since the 830 series and have never had one cause any kind of issues. The built in software is great for monitoring drives as well as migrating from HDD to SSD. In total I have migrated around 30 machines to these and am running 3 in my rig at home. Will continue to buy them.

> 24 hourComputer noob, this was really easy to install, Samsung Magician is easy to use as well. Copied my hd using Macrium Reflect. My computer boots 10x faster. From the moment I hit the power button to being on the internet has to be less than 20 seconds.

> 24 hourBest price/performance ratio for a SATA SSD. Equally good for storage or gaming. Easy to install and uses existing HDD cables, so you don’t have to replace wires/connections. Also comes with software download to clone your data from the old HDD even if the HDD is larger than the SSD you’re upgrading to.
