Pc became incredibly fast, very fast boot times, windows runs super fast and so do games, pretty much no load times. Worth every penny.

This SSD is absolutely insane. My load times have increased one hunredfold moving from a Hard Drive and Im very glad I snagged this. Only downside is I wish it was a bit cheaper but for the price I guess I cant really complain. Giving it a 5 stars with 1 star off of storage capacity because in my opinion it couldve had more storage capacity

Samsung provides in-house tools for a one click copy of your laptops HDD and software to run diagnostics on the SDD. Very important, dont use freeware unless verified and no need to spend extra on 3rd party software. Specs met as advertised and overall user experience greatly improved from a 750GB HDD on an Asus Laptop bought in 2015. Very effective way to extend life of older laptop. Stick with EVO series for best performance!

Samsung makes the best SSDs. Laptop is ridiculous fast now. I use these in my desktop and both laptops. Zero issues. Make sure you use the Samsung Magician software to clone your old one or if its a second drive use Windows Disk Management to format it. Super fast

Cloned Win 10 Pro boot from an older disk drive. Working perfectly and the software ran flawlessly on the first attempt in record time. As long as it doesnt crash early this is as good as I could expect, especially for the price. Any problems later and an update will be posted.

The Samsung data migration tool worked flawlessly. After copying the files, I swapped hard drives and it booted right up (Win 10). Going from a disk drive to a SSD there is no comparison. Boot up is just a couple of seconds. With my old drive it was literally minutes.

Works impeccably outside the box. My Lenovo T410 now hums like a new laptop. This is an amazing hard drive.

Hello. My HP Star Wars laptop was already starting to fail. I consulted on the internet and I found a video on YouTube in German (it is not necessary to know German, because you can see the process clearly), on how to change the factory hard drive for this Samsung SSD. The SSD arrived perfectly. I installed it, I reinstalled Windows 10 with three partitions (C: Windows 10, D: A future Linux Ubuntu or Fedora, E: My archives). And ready! I feel like I have a better laptop than the original one. Everything is fast, now I am the slow one. Excuse me for my bad english, please. I hope that this review is useful. Thank you for reading.

Replacement hd for my ps4. Works great! Waaay quicker the the original hd. Well worth it.

My tech savvy next door neighbor helped me swap out my old 2TB hard drive for the the Samsun 1TB SSD from my 2013 model Dell XPS One 2710 computer. Heres what we needed to complete the job: 1) the Samsung SSD; 2) a SATA-USB cable (see below); 3) a Phillips screwdriver; 4) a towel (to protect monitor); and a 2.5 - 3.5 mounting kit; 5) the Dell XPS One 2710 user manual (access via Dells website); and 6) Samsung Migration software (download for free). We also upgraded the RAM from 8GB to 16KB (Crucial 16GB kit). My system is booting up quickly. Very happy.
