Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I ordered 2 of these drives to be used as external storage drives, and I bought a suitable case for them as well. When I plugged them in to the laptop, they would not appear in the File Manager. The light on the drive came on, but they were not recognizable. Even in Device Manager they didnt appear. So I downloaded the Samsung Magician software and it said they were not supported drive types for Windows 10. I had to actually install each one in my laptop and use a Windows 7 OS CD to format them. After that, they showed up properly, but many people would not be able to do that. I have 3 different laptops (2 Dells, 1 ASUS), one with Win7, Win 8.1, and Win10 and none of them recognized the drives. Now that theyre formatted I havent encountered another issue, but I havent found a good use for the Magician software.

First - get this! I was about to hold a funeral for my aging tower system. It has a reasonable quad-core CPU, I packed all the memory it holds, got a GPU, bought new and faster drives, and put the operating system and applications on their own drive. The boot time and constant lag were killing me. Then I saw this.

It makes even SHUTTING DOWN my pc fast. It’s exactly what I expected and what I needed. Installation was straight forward but I had a few errors trying to get my BIOS to boot using the SSD. Eventually I got it to work and the whole installation process took me no more than half an hour. Overall I highly recommend this product to anybody trying to improve their computer speed and performance.

Installed & copied over from my current HDD and was up and running in about 2 hours. I used a free disk copy software program which worked like a charm.

Got this to replace an old mechanical drive. My boots on Windows, went from 6 and a half minutes to 3 minutes.

Had a defective HD hard drive and purchased this SSD. Even at half the storage of my HDD it works ten times better. The instructions were easy to follow and the software included transferred everything from the old to the new.

Lo instale en ps4 slim, no se dejen llevar por las criticas en contra, es una diferencia inmensa no solo de pantallas de carga si no en general de descarga de texturas o menus. Tenia muchas dudas pero es una compra casi obligatoria para mejorar la experiencia casi un 200% en los títulos mas recientes

Excelente, es solo instalar y usar, lo compre para el S.O y COD Warzone ya que es imposible correrlo en un HDD de 5400 Rpm.
