These things are awesome. They take a five year old PC with an i5 processor and 8 gigs of ram and make them run as well as a new one. Ill never put in a conventional hd in a laptop or standard desktop again. Start up is fast and dependable.

Works great and it is easy to install. I have several for various machines and they all work fine. Much better than a old mechanical hard drive.

What is the best way to keep your PC running smoothly and quickly? Get this SSD. Nuff said.

its one of the better rated sata SSDs out there. for me its for my rollover storage (all the old games i archive etc... it does its job. it works. its solid. so yeah, you already know what this thing is at this point

I installed this SDD on my sons computer because his old hard drive failed. This time around I decided to go with a solid state drive. The installation was easy, windows set up took 9 minutes, vs. 30-40 minutes on regular HD.

I installed this little guy in a very old referbished computer, it went from 3 min boot times to 5 seconds. Insainly fast little thing.

Huge improvement from my old hard drive. System boot takes 1/100 of the time. Was going to give it 4 out of 5 on install as the screws are soooo tiny when using a mounting bracket however it is what it is. Would have bought the bigger 1tb but they were out of stock.

I purchased the Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E500B/AM) to replace a 1TB HHD. I first cloned the HHD to the SSD and removed old HHD then installed this SSD with no issues. The SDD dramatically improved the speed of my laptop. So far Ive had no issues and Im extremely happy with this purchase.

The SSD is quite easy to install, assuming you have a mounting bracket, a sata cable, and mounting screws. It was a pretty fast install, assuming you know what youre doing, but YT videos and other guides online are quite helpful. In my case, my computer came with a mounting bracket, but no screws to go with it, I had to get those screws myself. It also did not come with an extra sata cable, so I also had to get that as well. This is not the fault of the drive, but just know that not all computers come with anything to help you mount your drive!

This is my 2nd SAMSUNG product the first one I own is a Samsung 970 Evo 500gb m.2 nvme which still performs till date extremely well and this SSD has brought new life for my old T420 . Nothing more to say Samsung chips are amazing, blazing fast , highly reliable and durable. I enabled rapid mode which gives me read speeds upto 3079 MB/s and write speeds upto 5129 MB/s .
