EASY TO USE AND WORKS GREAT.

Only works with very old modems/routers using 2.4ghz. Even if your router has both 2.4 and 5G available, its a pain in the rear to constantly change back and forth between frequencies to use the rest of your Home devices that use newer 5G. Constantly needed to be deleted and reset in Home to get it to work.

First off, these plugs are integrated into our HomeKit system and they work well. However, they were difficult to attach to our network. We have a Linksys Velop tri-band mesh system. In order for these plugs to be initialized and connected to our Wi-Fi, we had to make sure we were at the farthest reach of one of our stations to ensure we were likely on the 2.4 ghz band. In our case, the garage was the perfect place to get these plugs on the network. It took between 1 and 3 tries - moving around a bit each time - for the operation to be successful. One surprise was that the app you download does not handle the connection to HomeKit. Once the serial number was scanned and we connected to the plug’s Wi-Fi, the HomeKit app opened and handled the rest of the connection process.

The house listens and it obeys. How great is that!

Works great, just scan the QR code on the specific device and follow the directions on your phone. It’s nice that I can turn it off with my phone through the Home app and setting it as a widget so it makes it that much easier. The only thing I’d change on it is being able to turn it off and on when I’m not connected to the same Wi-Fi as the device. Otherwise, amazing.

These were my first steps into adding homekit compatible devices to my house. I can report that they were extremely easy to set up and use. Just scan from the homekit app and it sets the rest up itself. Ive had them for four days now without any issues. They havent disconnected themselves from the wifi or my homepod (my control device) and the automation works seamlessly. Over all, a great purchase at a great price!

For my Apple iOS phones, EASY, painless installation. THAT is - IMHO - the key to happiness with this type of product. There are many, many others out there that I am sure work great - but may require their own Apps to function. My search for Apple Smart plugs found these - and they are great.

I bought a Refoss smart switch and was totally pleased with the performance, so when I saw the Refoss outlet I wanted to try it out. I own several different brands of outlets and switches, and I found that this outlet was just as good as the switch. Easy setup, quick recovery after a power outage (simulation by flipping the breaker) unlike some others I’ve bought these will easily fit two in one outlet.
