> 3 dayFantastic smart plugs. I have owned several different brands of smart plugs and they always have the same problem of disconnecting every few months requiring a complete reset and reconfigure to get them working again. NOT these plugs though they were plugged in and setup in maybe 2 minutes and have not had an issue in three months so far. AND they were nearly half the price of the other plugs I have tried. I set them up with HomeKit first and then with Alexa. Both setups were quick and easy no problems.

> 3 dayWas easier to set up than I expected. I just scanned the QR code on the top of the smart switch with my iPhone’s camera and it automatically integrated with Apple Home. I didn’t need to install any 3rd party apps or create any accounts. I don’t have an Apple TV or a HomePod to handle smart automation but I don’t really need it— I just use this as a remote switch from my phone. One thing to note is I’m pretty sure it only works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and not 5.0 GHz. My router supports both so it was not a problem. Edit 10/20/2021: Every once in a while Apple Home loses connection to these smart devices and I have to unplug and plug the smart outlet back into the wall for it to reconnect. Kind of a pain. Docking one star.

Greater than one weekI’m very pleased to find mini plugs that work with both HomeKit and Alexa and have ETL safety certifications. These are nice sturdy small plugs and although the fit is tight, you can indeed get two into a regular outlet. Set up with Homekit was very easy: The device was recognized immediately, added as soon as I scanned the QR code, and worked right away. Setup was a little more difficult with Alexa because the device needed a firmware update, and as long as it did, Alexa kept saying it was unavailable. Even though it worked fine with HomeKit. Neither the Meross app nor the eHomeLife app indicated a firmware update was needed on the individual device information. Instead, I had to go into the account information, and that’s where it showed me that a firmware update was available. Once the firmware update was complete, everything worked fine. So even though the installation process was a little glitchy, I’m very pleased with the plugs and with the quality of them, especially at this price. I expect to be buying several more in the future.

> 3 dayI had a connection error with one of my plugs and couldnt get it working. The manual says factory reset is holding the button for 5 seconds but its actually 10 seconds. Aside from that its good. Works as i want it to. my lazy ass doesnt have to turn my fan on or any of my lights anymore.

> 3 dayI love these plugs, they allow me to program and use voice commands to change my light settings. Currently I use one for my desk light which turns on at 5:30 AM as a wake up during my work from home and I have my Leopard Geckos light set to go on and off based on sunrise and sunset. I have purchased this product multiple times and I will continue to purchase them to complete my home connected Internet of Things.

> 3 dayAdded them recently for Christmas decor lights and loved the ease of install/setup. Was able to create a “Christmas Scene” in Home and schedule it with automation. Will likely buy more.

> 3 dayWorks great and easy to setup with HomeKit. Just remember to set your iPhone/iPad to the right WiFi network (2.4 GHz), during the setup. Once it’s done, you can switch back to the 5GHz if needed.
