> 3 dayI took the advice of the folks who advised picking up version 11.5, and not only did I save a pocket full of cash but I got a good product to boot. After installation on my Windows 7 laptop (shut off your antivirus/spyware protection first!) all it took was about 20 minutes of reading to the software for training and it was surprisingly really super accurate and fast during dictation. Another plus was that it pointed me toward a free app for my iPhone that allows me to dictate text messages (Dragon Dictation). Sweet. Follow the advice of those telling you to pickup version 11.5 and get a good product for a lot less money.

> 3 dayOn March 10th., of this year with the assistance of a good friend, and motivation from my brother, I predicated a blog site, presented to any and all American Citizens concerned with their future? My blog address is;([...]) I comment and share my opinion of the world as I see it today, ..Interesting? ..Possibly? As the product that I purchased from Amazon.com was the Dragon Naturally Speaking program, Version 11, Premium, I am not writing this review via my fingertips, i.e., typing, ..But rather, I am using my Dragon Naturally Speaking program Version 11 Premium. I had surgery on both of my wrists approximately a year and a half ago to correct the all too common condition,(carpal tunnel syndrome) surgeries that unfortunately and sadly did not provide a pleasing outcome. Consequently, I have little to no feeling in either hand, and no feeling whatsoever in my fingertips, accordingly when I learned, from my good friend that helped me establish my website, i.e., Blog Site, I was extremely anxious to give it a try? As I reported, I began blogging on March 10th., via my numb arthritic fingers, I ordered my Dragon Naturally Speaking program on March 16th. I received the program on March 23rd. and I began using it on the 24th. A day, that at least for me, to quote, Franklin D. Roosevelt, (a day that will go down in infamy.) Side Note, if you think thats over the top? Read my Blog. As to my opinion, and my rating, of my Dragon Naturally Speaking program, Version 11 Premium, the only reason I gave it five stars, was due to the fact that you did not provide me with six. As to my appreciation and satisfaction with the price and service I received from Amazon.com, I give you 10 stars. Thank you beyond words. Charles F. Chuck Roper, a.k.a. Crusader Rabbit.

> 3 dayIve only had this product for a short time, but I love it! Very easy to train and Ive been pretty happy with the accuracy overall. Whenever I have some free time, I do read additional scripts of increasing levels of complexity in order to increase my vocabulary, and I have found that since I bought a USB adapter for the included headset that my accuracy have improved even further. The only thing Im getting used to is speaking the way you type. Otherwise, you end up with an ndless sentence, but for what Im using it for, its still much faster than typing everything word for word. I love it, and have recommended it to several friends and family members!

> 3 dayI write courses for Microsofts courseware library that center on SQL server Business Intelligence and SharePoint. The courses that I write target a sophisticated audience at least they are supposed to. This means they have technical jargon in them or geek speak complicating the task for any voice recognition software. I have recently started to use Dragon Naturally Speaking. This is the latest version, 11, the professional edition. I have tried earlier versions of Dragon in the hopes that it would increase my productivity and I have also tried built in voice recognition available in Windows 7. I did not find either the earlier versions of Dragon or voice recognition in Windows 7 to be of a high enough quality to be useful. However this latest version of Dragon is absolutely outstanding and I highly recommend it.There is no disclaimer here as I have in no way been compensated by Dragon though if they read this and want to change that Im open to negotiations!

> 3 dayThis is one of the most amazing products I have ever used. Several years ago I spent a lot of time trying to get a voice recognition system to work. All I got was frustration and ended up forgetting about it. After I watched a commercial on television of how easy this product works I was skeptical, but thought for such a low price I would give it a try. I first bought the home version and was so impressed I upgraded to the premium edition within four weeks. I am now in the process of purchasing this software for many people in my company. It is hard to believe how much time I save by using this product.

> 3 dayWow. Ive used Dragon very intermittently since 2000 or so. I use it for a fairly unusual purpose, often to look at my handwritten notes from a meeting and quickly dictate them and correlated thoughts into a personal-use document to remember the meeting - without doing any corrections. (Note - It did pick up my user file from Dragon 10, so it had some experience with me, and I use a pretty good microphone, not the $6 one that comes in the box). But listen: Dragon Premium 11 dictated five or six paragraphs immediately upon installation (on a 3-year-old laptop) with ZERO errors. It seems to take longer to decide on a sentence, so I suspect it is considering longer arcs of text before it makes word choices. This seems to be very good for accuracy, but it is a little annoying if you are trying to correct it in real time, since youre on sentence 3 when it has decided what you meant for Sentence 1 and prints it. So theres no question theyve got the basic speech-to-text technology down pretty well. I dont use the bells and whistles (e.g. to create & address emails, for example) so no comment on that. It seems to have quite a few bells and whistles if you want to be a Dragon expert.

> 3 dayI love the Dragon NaturallySpeaking system. I am in college currently working on a graduate degree and use my Dragon quite often. My only complaint so far would be that it does not play well with the reference section on Microsoft word. And sometimes does not play well with Microsoft office but, these occurrences are not frequent. I would recommend Dragon anyone who has a lot of typing to do.

> 3 dayDragon Naturally Speaking Premium 11 by Nuance / B003VNCROU I bought this software with one goal in mind - my intent was to couple the software with a solid voice recorder in order to transcribe spoken notes, reviews, and journal entries. My intent was to talk on the road my reviews and journal entries, load the sound files onto my computer at the end of the day, feed them into Dragon, and with a minimum of editing turn out the text so that I could then paste the result into an Amazon window and bang off for the evening. As you will see, this didnt work so well. Firstly, I did my research. The Nuance website has plenty of graphs on the best voice recorders for their software. I eventually went with the

> 3 dayBought Dragon to speed up the process of writing blogs, articles, and books. I find it does that, if I have put some thought into what I want to say, and how I will outline my thoughts ahead of time. If I just sit down to start talking and compose as I go, I end up having a fair amount of editing to do afterward. The software works well, catches most words accurately. If I were to spend a bit of time reading instructions, I would probably use more of the available functions and commands (like making headings, and using less common punctuation marks). Im a beginner but will continue to be a Dragon user and hope to become a superuser eventually.

> 3 dayI am not sure how much people expect from voice recognition software. I am writing a book and for my purposes, I find the accuracy and capacity excellent. I dont expect it to be 100% accurate, and not all the commands work for me (like copying) - but the important commands worked right out of the gate. I am not trying to run my system with voice recognition, just want it to take audio dictation. So for me, especially considering the price, and that in less than an hour from start to finish I had it taking dictation at an exceptionally high level of accuracy (maybe 98%) - I am not sure how much more I could ask for. I think one should consider how clearly one speaks and if you have an accent, maybe that causes it to be less accurate. But if you speak clearly and take your time setting it up, it seems to me to be quite a wonderful technology. Best of luck!
