I purchased this because there are never enough USB ports on computers. This make life easier, provides power to USB devices and doesnt slow down the computer. Well worth the money.

Randomly disconnects USB devices. I tested it with both Mac and Windows computers. Both worked fine quickly developed problems. I finally realized all my weird issues were caused by these USB Hubs. Be smarter than me, dont waste your money on these. Reviews must be astro-turfd to high heaven.

I question the power output of this hub. Occasionally my portable hard drive clicks (after researching, I found this is due not enough power to the drive). I removed the drive from the hub and connected directly to my computer over a month ago and the issue went away. Otherwise, this hub works well.

Nice hub. I’m glad I found this one. Like that it’s powered and has a high power port besides the normal ports.

Warning: the USB 3.0 (blue) ports on ikuai 7 port do not support 1.5A power output as stated by seller in question section. Instead they max out at 380mA. I also own the ikuai 5 port, which DOES support 1.5A. Red quick charge ports on both units work great (2.8A).

I like the look of my Mac, but it only comes with four usb ports and they can be a little awkward to reach positioned in the back. My external DVD drive can take up two ports on its own. With seven ports, this hub has been just what I needed. The three charging ports are for charging only, you cant also transfer data with them, but thats OK with me. I have several gadgets I need to keep charged over the course of a day. The hub looks good and feels solidly built, with a mostly metal exterior. Each port has an on/off button, which can come in handy, say if youre using it to power some LEDs or anything else that lacks its own on/off.

Great product My only complaint is that you cannot use usb bluetooth devices with it.

I have a lot of thumb drives I use to sort and store video and documents on, as well as an external 1 TB digital drive and a 1 TB SATA drive. One of these hubs allows me to connect all my USB devices in one place, as well as letting me individually turn off the ports Im not using to speed up access. The only con I have is the led indicators for the ports power status are very dim and difficult to see.
