> 3 dayIf you have problems with your machine you better know how to fix it. Customer service is great but they fight to send a replacement machine. I told them i wasnt mechanically inclined but after the second machine died they refused to send another 1. They want videos of how its broke and then send me directions on how to fix it. This corporation takes money from its employees for low reviews. I hesitated to edit my review but would feel awful if someone saw my old review and purchased a machine base don it and had the problems i had. BUY AMERICAN. Not this POS.

> 3 dayI got the X-Plus with a grant for my classroom. I had a little experience with 3D Printers when I ordered this one, but this thing was ready to go right out of the box. Maybe not right away, but it was put together and I had a test print up and running quickly. The print quality is awesome. Even the QIDI slicer is easy to use. I love the auto shut off feature when a print ends. Ive had this machine since September and have been running it pretty solid since. When I did run in to a problem, their tech support helped me quickly get the machine back up and running. I would definitely recommend the X-Plus for sure, but probably any of the QIDI printers for people getting started with 3D printing but want a quality machine that will last.

Greater than one weekHad a few bugs to work out at the beginning but once all the settings are dialed in it prints great. Customer service is A+++ as they helped answer any questions and replaced any parts that had problems under warranty.. Highly recommend the Qidi X Plus.

> 3 dayI am a beginner, and the X-Plus is my first 3D printer. Right out of the box, using default slicer settings I was printing with excellent results. As time passed I have started to experiment with advanced settings, more complex builds. Its quiet. The touchscreen is simple and intuitive. The enclosure will keep out pets and small children. The build surface is well-lit, and is easily levelled (manually) with touchscreen prompts. The included slicer software is extremely easy to use: after creating or downloading an stl file from your favorite site (Im talking about you, Thingiverse), open it in the Qidi slicer (or whichever one you prefer), use default settings or tweak them for finer detail, etc, save the file to a thumb drive, plug the drive into the USB port on the front of your printer, select the file using the touchscreen, hit print. The screen will estimate the build time and count it down. For those wishing to use Octoprint to monitor their prints, this machine can easily be made compatible with the purchase of a cable that converts the UART port underneath into a second USB port. Pins, no soldering. Easy. Tech support has been wonderful. I shorted out the main board. I was printing on a glass surface secured by metal binder clips in the back corners, when the extruder contacted a clip while drawing a skirt. I emailed Qidi. A few hours later, I received an email and a troubleshooting video, which confirmed the problem. A few days later I received a new board and they threw in a new extruder. Wow. An hour later I was back in business. I am very happy with my X-Plus, especially knowing that support is available. The user groups / printer owners are also quite generous with input and tweaks.

> 3 dayIve made numerous parts on this machine, and havent had any problems with it. Not a single wasted print! It worked perfectly out of the box, and needed only a little tweaking of the Z offset in QiDi Print (0.1mm in my case) to get the first layers down right. If youre considering a 3D printer, then look no further. This printer is incredible.

> 3 dayI received the printer promptly (shipping to the United States) and also received excellent customer support along with it. The printer needed minimal setup and produced quality prints after less than an hour of unpacking and setup. Im very happy with this machine and my first printer!:)

> 3 dayThis is my first 3D printer. It works great and is easy to setup and use. Ive printed quite a bit and have only had slight user errors. Pretty easy to diagnose and the slicing software works good for a beginner. Love this thing and all the features are worth the extra price if you are like me and dont plan to upgrade for awhile and want an all around good unit.

11-04-2025Tech support is very good but continues to have problems with clogging and print quality. Head is too big to view the print process. Ive used different manufacturers PLA and still having issues. For the money im not seeing the value.

> 3 dayI am a beginner with 3D printing. But the QIDI Plus printer has made it quite easy for me. Its delivered with most of it assembled and their instructions are very clear and simple. The top cover and front door allow printing to be fairly silent. The printing software that comes with it is quite intuitive to use. The one thing I would suggest is to increase the print temperature to 210-215 rather than keeping it at their default temp of 190. That allows the prints to come out much more solid. I had some issues with the platform sticker sheet layer tearing. But, Linda from tech support helped me by asking me to turn the screw nuts on the bottom of the platform a certain amount and it solved the problem. Their tech support is extremely responsive and very helpful. I feel the money was well spent! Thumbs up!

> 3 dayThis 3d printer is great for beginners or pros! Works amazingly out of the box, very easy installation. Quiet, enclosed printing. Comes with 2 different extruders, one regular and one hot nozzle.. if you run into any problems, you can email their support, which is also amazing! You can email Linda and she will get back to you a few hours later with a solution! I had trouble with a STL file and i asked them whats wrong. They printed it and then they send me the perfect settings for it! Thats customer service! Now on top of it they updated the slicer software, which is very easy to learn with many many extra settings. Overall its a great printer, with great support from qidi!
