> 3 dayI bought this 3D printer mainly to get proficient with modelling and printing items. I would say this model is great for beginners as the setup was very easy coming out of the box. The documentation is also very easy to follow. I had two issues out of the box. The first was that during shipping, on of the y-axis belts had become dislodged. An email to the technical support team was responded to very quickly with videos of how to reinstall it and tension it properly. The second issue was that the X and Y axis were not exactly 90 degrees apart and this was clearly visible on my first couple of prints. This is called skew and I was able to find a post processing script that corrects for it in the G-code and was easy to install with the Qidi slicer. Overall, my experience with this system has been very positive and the response from the technical support team was great to make sure I could get it up and going. I would definitely recommend this system to others.

08-04-2025Ive had this printer for over a year and I have been very happy with it. It is relatively easy to use and provides consistently good results. If needed, I would not hesitate to purchase another.

> 3 dayIve had this printer for 7 months and have been getting great results. I print for money and this printer is a workhorse sometimes printing non-stop for 3-4 days straight with no problems. Tech support is wonderful sending me a complete low temp extruder/hotend assembly after having a couple of days with issues. Currently considering the X-Pro for the dual extruder.

> 3 dayIve had this printer for about 7 months now and Im still loving the freedom to print anything at home. The printer comes with two print heads; one for printing lower temp materials like PLA, TPU and PETG, and a high temp, all metal extruder for materials like ABS, etc. Ive done most of my printing in PLA, a bit with PETG, and starting to get into TPU. So far this printer has been able to take whatever Ive thrown at it. There are a few things Id suggest adding to the printer as well. The printer I got (X-Plus) does not come with a filament run-out sensor so I purchased that separately. As of the time of writing this, I believe they are now releasing the X-Plus II which comes with it by default. This is a lifesaver for long printers and I highly recommend whatever printer you choose, make sure it has a run-out sensor so you dont lose long prints. There are a few minor gripes that I share with other users. The filament holder inside is tough to screw in properly sometimes. The nice thing about having a 3d printer though, is if I want, I can just print a new style. There is a good community of users out there with modifications or add on prints you can make. Second gripe is the stickers on the side plates. I immediately replaced those with my own acrylic sheets with magnets to let more light into the printer (and to peek in from the sides during printing). Overall, the printer is fantastic. Now onto the most important bit, tech support. Something will inevitably go wrong. All tech has issues at some point. For me, I accidentally shorted out the temperature sensor attempting to change the nozzle while the machine was on, which is not advised. I reached out to support, and even though there is a 12 hour time zone difference, I managed to work with support, and in 24 hours they were sending me a new main board and extruder cable since we werent sure which was the solution. It ended up being the main board. They shipped it DHL international express. I got the parts from China in 5 days. My printer was only offline for a week. Honestly this was the most impressive bit as I expected the parts to come snail mail and take a month to get to me. The tech support is what impressed me the most as the support side can make or break a tech purchase. So would I recommend this printer? Yes. Are there cheaper options out there? Of course but those you have to assemble yourself or do your own tech support. At least here I was able to talk with an expert and work towards a quick solution.

> 3 dayAmazingly easy to setup and use with the Qidi slicer. The slicer can send print jobs wirelessly which is very convent. Most amazing and most important is the response time and help from the tech support.

> 3 dayThe X-Plus is a big step up from my Creality machines and the Qidi was up and running in no time. The print quality is fantastic and can print a wide variety of materials with the included high temp extruder. My biggest perk so far has been their tech support. They are always quick to respond with helpful assistance. Would definitely buy another, perhaps the X-Max for the larger build volume

> 3 dayThis is my second 3D printer, Ive had it over a year already, its reasonably fast and very silent. Prints are neat and it allows quite big objects. Tech support is absolutely great. I recommend it for beginners and pros.

> 3 dayI purchased the Qidi X-Plus specifically for printing engineering grade filaments such as CF nylons and CF and normal polycarbonate. Ive been using it for a few weeks and after tuning for specific filaments, I get great results with the above mentioned materials. I did have an initial issue with the printer which was quickly addressed via email. Great customer service and a quality printer.
