SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM)

Great 512Gb SDD, fast data rate! When the HDD in my laptop got corrupted, I got this SDD to use as a primary boot drive and relegated the old HDD as storage. My laptop now boots almost instantaneously. Sure, part of that is the fresh Windows install, but a lot of it is the fast data rate of this SDD. Im very happy with it. And it uses less current than the old drive, so my battery will last. This is an excellent price for a high-capacity SDD. I recommend it.

It is a great HDD but took support over 30 minutes to be able to use it as a master HDD. my computer didnt see it and windows wouldnt install on it right, it didnt want to partition or something. It has not had an issue since though.

Have only had it for about a month so far, but it does its job well. Delivery was fast, too. All around a good buy. The only reason to buy a hard drive over this (or any other solid state drive) would be price.

Installed in my asus k55n laptop. Used a drive caddy to install ssd in cdrom bay, cloned the original drive, then installed ssd in place of original hdd and re installed cd/dvd. booted right up and runs faster than ever did before.

Price was good, dont notice a whole lot of difference in most computer activity however. BE CAREFUL opening box! HD is not securely in soft plastic tray (can loosen during transit) if youre sliding tray out of box make sure youre holding the HD cause it might fall out of the tray! You think theyd be smart enough to put a piece of tape to hold it in.

It is a great product, it allows your portable personal computer to be faster than if you use mechanical hard disks. Starting only takes less than 10 seconds.

Night and day performance gain on my laptop. Quite happy overall. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the Samsung Magician software that comes with it, does not recognize Windows 10 as an OS to allow RAPID mode. The drive otherwise works fine on Windows 10, but I have to wait for Samsung to release a version of Magician that fully supports Windows 10.

Came with basic cloning software that worked perfectly. Very satisfied, the upgrade from a standard HDD was badly needed!

Id like to write a long and detailed review, but it is really unnecessary. The drive was easy to install, and I have seen a considerable difference in the speed of my computer. Loading times, as well as the boot of my system have been greatly reduced. Buy it.

Ive been using the 250GB drive until I ran out of space and needed to upgrade. Works great. Great software that duplicated my old drive and expanded the drive space on the partition. Awesome!
