Super fast SSD for my laptop. Makes load times and startup very fast. Battery life is much longer too.

This thing is fast! Im talking no load times on almost everything fast. My OS loads in under 2 seconds and web pages are up before u are done clicking it seems. I use steam often for gaming and the time it takes to come up is like the app was already running and you just minimized it. For the size you get for the price when I bought it for $200 its a great deal and needing anything faster is talking about taking mila seconds off. Things I wouldnt pay double or triple the price for. Great product and a must for any future PCs.

So far its still running and operating at typical SATA III SSD speeds (around 500 MB/s sequential read/write.)

Great value for a very fast and reliable SSD. No complaints so far, as weve been using it for a couple months now. No more worrying about R/W cycles; as a spinner will more than likely fail before you reach the life of the lifetime R/W cycles of this SSD. One star docked for being made in China.

This is pretty much the SSD Ive been holding out for. One with NAND guaranteed to last me 5 years (and if you look into the details of how the SSD sorta grades itself as it goes, depending on your usage this thing could last dozens of years really), super super fast, and at an affordable price. The days of SSDs being out of the reach of the average consumer are finally disappearing. In terms of speed, if youre on a SATA III (6.0Gb/s) connection, you probably wont be able to tell any difference between this SSD and any other SSD, but in terms of benchmarks its rated very high. I can completely restart Windows so fast now, that the thing taking the most amount of time is me entering my password to log in. If youre replacing an HDD, you cannot go wrong with this!!

Kicks butt! Ive ordered 3 of these and all of them made my computers much faster. I cant vouch for the reliability yet but the oldest one I have is going on 1.5 years with every day use and its still going strong.

Please be careful when purchasing this SSD. Like several others leaving reviews, I was sold the European model rather than the American one promised by the product description. It does not say anywhere on the SSD which region the model belongs to. The warranty cannot be serviced in the US and the drive is failing after a few months of use. When I contacted Samsung, they offered to do the repairs for free, but I would have to pay for round trip shipping to and from the Netherlands (~$160). I found this totally unreasonable considering my invoice says MZ-75E500B/AM which, according to Samsungs own website, means I should have received the American model of the drive (as opposed to MZ-75E500B/EU). Amazon does not care, and will not replace or refund the drive. Buyer beware.

Hello, I am writing to make you the consumer aware of a minor issue , NOT with the product but with the required pieces parts to install the drive. You NEED to have a SATA to USB adapter cable to install this drive. IT IS NOT included, nor is it apparent you will need one when reading the description and other technical details. Now , a statement that cables and other accessories are not included is present in the description, but that didnt make me think I needed to buy a separate cable to install, maybe Im not too bright? could be. I did get the housing recommended, thanks Amazon! please include the $7 adapter so others dont have to wait for another pieces to arrive (PROPS to Amazon PRIME NOW!) should have adapter in 90 min so not too bad ...but STILL! THIS is a great drive please get it you will be thankful, but make sure you get the cable as well
