Schlage 12mm Cinch Ring Security Chain (No Lock)

I bought it for a motorcycle and i think even for that its too heavy/ Thicc but the quality is there

This thing is BEEFY. Saw other reviews and so I checked and my welds looked nice. Paired this up with a large schlage lock and have very little worry anyone other than a truly determined person would get through it. Nothing is completely unbreakable but it is nicely made and I think it would deter most people looking to get away with something quickly.

Using this and a puck lock for my generator! I won’t need to worry about it walking away while at a camp site

I use it to lock my ebikes and combined with a u lock its the best.

This is a review for the Schlage 999461 chain with cinch ring. This is a very nice heavy duty chain that can be used to secure bikes to a car bike rack. The internal chain link opening is 19.8mm (0.779 inches). The heavy duty chain arrived with a nice nylon sleeve on about half the chain, leaving 6 links exposed. To protect my bikes, I stretched a part of a Mountain Bike inner tube 26 x 2.1-2.5 over the exposed links, adding a zip tie on the end to prevent it from slipping. At the last link, I cut a hole in the inner tube to allow my Onguard Brute U-lock to pass through. Now, I can securely lock my bikes to my car bike rack in a higher crime area.

Like I said. Beefy & Heavy. That is exactly why I gave it 5 stars. I love this chain with the slip through noose ring. The ring allows you to cinch it up or use another lock for extra protection. Piece of mind can sometimes come at a great cost but Im really happy to have it and would buy another if needed.

This chain is heavy duty Im pleasantly surprised at just how heavy this thing is. Its very secure even my cinch chain is welded well. I dont have to worry about my bike thanks to how sturdy and well made this chain is. I also like the protective fabric coating and the extra length its long enough to wrap around a telephone pole.

Cinch ring doubles the effective working length. Will defeat all but the most serious bike thieves.

Its holding strong and secure.
