> 3 dayVery solid (and heavy) chain. Will be very difficult to cut. We combined is with the Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 Bicycle Disc Bike Lock. Great combination!

Greater than one weekIf a thief wants something bad enough, he’ll be prepared enough to get past any security so I look at this as a theft deterrent but a darn great one! A thief is going to look for the weakest place of entry & this chain ain’t it. I combined it with a super high quality lock with a low, well protected shackle, giving no room for bolt cutters. I have a long & shorter version of this chain & love the cinch ring - it works great for my purposes. I watched demos online of people trying bolt cutters on it & it passed the test easily. I used to cut rebar way back when with high quality bolt cutters & this chain would be a female dog to cut! If a thief wants it he’ll have to torch it off.

> 3 dayThis chain is very beefy and is too heavy to carry on your person. It is best stored wrapped around the bike frame. Only a very determined and well equipped bike thief that happens to be carrying a blow torch might be able to cut this chain. The chain cover that it comes with is a little short in length and exposes some of the chain links. A used bike inner tube fits perfectly to cover the exposed links and prevents damage to the frame.

> 3 dayI use this chain to lock up my mountain bike. I dont have any worries about anyone cutting through it (without power tools). Although realize this is not a very portable chain. Id be hard pressed to put it on my bike and take it anywhere, unless I was in a high-crime area.

> 3 dayThis chain is beefy! Love it. My only regret is that I did not get one that is a foot longer (that is my fault of course). Update - still love this chain. It stays perm. attached to my bike rack and I lock up my pricy mtn bike when I have to leave it on my car. The lock would be the weak part of my system, however, most crimes are crimes of opportunity and it is not easy, they wont bother.

> 3 dayUsed this chain to secure my spare tire/rim in the bed of my truck. The sheath is really thick therefore, it wont rub through or cause damage to my rim. The chain is 1/2 thick and gives me peace of mind when my truck is parked. The chain is really heavy duty and I recommend it for anything that you are trying to secure. Especially if your into overkill security. 10/10

> 3 dayThis is a heavy duty chain. Im using it to secure a gas generator to a shed and more than enough length to secure. Because the chain is mounted in the back of the shed and under the generator, using a bolt cutter or grinder would not be impossible, but highly unlikely. I would recommend this product for this application. This is heavy so I wouldnt want to carry this around or use on a bike, but a motorcycle with storage bin would work.

Greater than one weekSolid, long enough to secure bike. Best use _ stationary security in medium security area, perfect to secure to the car bike rack . A BIT TOO HEAVY TO TAKE WITH YOU if you are riding light weight expensive road bike, but may be OK for e bike or gravel bike with a luggage rack . This chain is resistant to hand held boltcutter, BUT NOT grinder.

> 3 dayDont cheap out, this chain is worth the investment. I use this is my bike chain with a good boron shackle lock; heavy as hell, but I just wear it like a sash. I wish it had a velcro strap at both ends of the sleeve instead of just the cinch end, but I understand the design decision.
